^Notes and Terms of Research Hours and Membership Benefits: The customized block of hours provided by UPN staff assistance depends on the level of membership chosen by your utility. Full hours are charged for any conference calls that take a portion of an hour. Within one month of active membership, the utility and UPN must mutually agree on the exact “go get utility input” research services for the entire block of annual allotted hours. Any calls and/or emails required by UPN staff to help the member decide on how to use the block of hours will be deducted from the assigned block of hours that comes with membership. If the member utility does not sign off on the specific allotment of the block (of time included in membership) within 30 days of membership activation, the utility forfeits their block of time.
