Awards for Energy Users

2010 Energy Users Excellence Awards

Annually recognizing commercial, industrial and institutional energy users for excellence in energy management and energy cost control.

Be recognized by your peers for your energy initiatives!

Winners from prior years include:

  • Pathmark (demand response initiative, submitted by Enernoc)
  • Raytheon (lighting initiative)
  • United States Postal Service (demand management initiative)
  • Partners Healthcare (utility bill tracking initiative)
  • Austin Energy (utility key accounts program)

The panel of judges has included utilities and commercial/industrial energy users worldwide -  like Staples, Sara Lee, The Limited, Whole Foods Markets, Raytheon, etc.   So the award carries a lot of weight, since large commercial/industrial customers and other utility peers decide winners.

Categories you can enter are:

  • Best Initiative in Demand Management
  • Best Lighting Initiative
  • Best Distributed Generation Initiative
  • Best Green Energy Initiative
  • Best Utility Bill Tracking Initiative
  • Best Utility Initiative with Commercial/Industrial Customers

The deadline to receive entries is in August.  Please see the Entry Form for more details.

Please note that the panel of judges is a volunteer-only panel of energy managers worldwide donating their time, and please note that vendors/consultants cannot sponsor the awards program -- so a nominal entry fee helps cover costs of the program so it can remain impartial.   Winners will be notified in September and will be formally recognized at our 10th Annual Large Energy Users Summit.
